If you have been following The Fashionable Housewife for any length of time, you probably know by now how unruly my hair can be! Sometimes it’s long, sometimes it’s short, but no matter what length it is, I have to take special care to not let it get out of control.
Sometimes I’m hesitant to try new hair products because I’ve tried shampoos and conditioners that have totally freaked my hair out so bad that it took me a month to get it back under control. Because of this, I try to be cautious about which hair products I review now.
When I was approached to try out Mitch Stone Essentials Lustre Shampoo and Conditioner Duo, I didn’t hesitate at all because I had already heard great things about the line of products.
Mitch Stone Essentials Features:
Mitch Stone Essentials Lustre Shampoo and Conditioner Duo is color safe, sulfate free and also contains keratin for healthy, shiny and lustrous hair.
Mitch Stone Essentials 456 Lustre Shampoo is color safe and contains VcompS – Mitch Stone’s proprietary vitamin cocktail which nourishes the hair and scalp.
Mitch Stone Essentials 457 Lustre Conditioner contains a vitamin cocktail, which nourishes the hair and scalp. Keratin helps provide strength and resistance to the hair.
While in the shower, the Lustre Shampoo created the perfect amount of suds, cleansed my hair without making it feel dry or squeaky. It didn’t feel like it stripped the moisture out like some shampoos do. It definitely felt like it nourished and softened my hair. I followed up with a small amount of the Lustre Conditioner which I massaged into my scalp and hair all the way to the ends. I left it in my hair while I washed my body, exfoliated and shaved. I then rinsed it out with warm (not hot) water.
While my hair was still damp, I could tell that the conditioner had done amazing things for my hair. I let my hair air dry for about 15 minutes and then blow dried it with a round brush.
It really seemed to make my hair shinier and softer. I’m really impressed with both the shampoo and conditioner. It delivers salon quality results, at home, which is what we are all looking for.
You can buy Mitch Stone Essentials Lustre Shampoo and Conditioner Duo at Folica for $36.
